Hot, hip & happening, but also a true conversation killer

We are so urban hip in our major cities with our “post-industrial hotspots”, aka trendy restaurants, in former bank buildings, schools and printing houses. Here, the sound vibrations between concrete and steel have such free rein that everyone shouts at each other. Hot, hip & happening, but also a true conversation killer'.
A nasty aftertaste
They are springing up like mushrooms; old industrial locations, converted into the hippest restaurants. We just can't get enough of it. Often a bargain for the entrepreneur and plenty of room for his creativity. But that industrial look, with its bare walls and pipes on the ceiling, often leaves a nasty aftertaste. The acoustics are not good here. And that means that we can't hear each other at the table.
Culprit number one
For many, bad acoustics are the number one culprit on a fun night out. No one is waiting for a game of “who screams the loudest, my neighbor or me”. An evening of dinner together should be about a good conversation, don't you think?
Finally enjoy
Fortunately, there is something that can be done about this. What helps? More partitions with good sealing, cabinet door panels with acoustic material or so-called acoustic system ceilings. Because the restaurant sounds better, customers feel more comfortable; ready to enjoy their evening.
