The commentators, editors, reporters, web editors, presenters, podcast makers and engineers. They all work together and interchangeably in a large space. Because of all the annoying noises in the background, it was almost impossible to work on reporting in the office in peace and quiet.

The solution

The acoustics at BNR Nieuwsradio | Het Financieele Dagblad has improved enormously by, among other things, installing desk panels in the editorial office. Acoustic improvements have also been made at the reception. This acoustic optimization is part of a major renovation. Akoesta provided the acoustics on behalf of Vega Projects. An acoustic measurement was carried out beforehand to make a good assessment of the required acoustic materials. Akoesta also started installing the felt acoustic panels in the radio studio.
