Better working office for EY employees
EY (formerly Ernst & Young)
EY is an internationally operating service company active in the fields of accountancy, tax advice and business advice. Formerly known as Ernst & Young. At EY, they are committed to a better working world: Building a better working world. And that is exactly what has been done at the EY office in Basel.
Elegant separation of spaces
How can you separate the office space in the most elegant way? And how can the acoustics in the workplace be improved in an attractive way? That was the question from EY.
Tailored solution
The heart of EY's office is the meeting hub/kitchen with an iconic mural with acoustic properties, made entirely of the versatile Archisonic material. Each square meter of this material contains 88 recycled PET bottles, making it one of the most sustainable building materials on the market. The Mount Pilatus mural consists of approximately 40 individual parts and eight different colors, showing Impact Acoustic's impressively accurate manufacturing. With the Impact Acoustic product line, a number of beautiful acoustic partitions and ceiling panels have been installed. The custom-made suspended acoustic partitions are a truly sustainable solution: they give the rooms a unique look and effectively absorb sound with a thickness of 24 mm. This has made an important contribution to “Building a better working world” for EY employees.

How are the acoustics in your building?
Many workplaces in the Netherlands do not comply with the noise standard. Users often don't know how bad the acoustics are because they've gotten used to it. This often results in (physical) complaints such as headache, stress and concentration problems. One good acoustics can prevent this. The specialists at Akoesta are happy to help you with personal advice and, if necessary, with an acoustic measurement.
